Covered in tall thrushes and other coastal grasses.

The ship has put into this sheltered cove.
This location provides good protection from the stormy sea and is an easy location to put to shore.
There are no obvious resources here no fresh water and the sandy soil will not do well to support farming.
However there are obvious small game trails among the thrushes, fishing is good, and coastal foraging is possible.
This location my be prone to damage during strong storms.
Vista:
NORTH: The inlet that lead the ship here form the sea can be seen clear to the horizon.
EAST: A sandy Shoal can just be made out on the horizon.
SOUTH: The land rises and changes over to forest, mountains can be seen in the cloudy distance.
WEST: More rushes and tall costal grass as far as the eye can see.
Obvious features:
A great deal of tall grass.
Small game trails
Large boulders left near beach due to erosion. (Possibly good for mooring or construction.)

On 20 roll d100 on a 5 or less animal is magical in some way.
how do we rate complexity ?
ReplyDeleteComplexity is from 1 to 6 the higher the number the more rocky / hilly / densely forested the hex is.
ReplyDeleteComplexity makes travel and noticing things more difficult, however it will also indicate that there might be more to find.
